What makes Invisalign® different?

Invisalign® uses its patented SmartTrack material to invisibly realign teeth. Rather than wearing obtrusive metal braces, Invisalign® allows you to get the straighter smile you want without anyone realising you’re wearing aligners. They’re also removable, meaning you can take them out for eating, and cleaning your teeth.

How does it work?

First, you’ll visit us here at Hampstead Dental studio where, using Invisalign®’s patented ClinCheck 3D treatment plan, we’ll develop a course of treatment unique to you and your teeth. This means you’ll be able to keep track of your teeth’s movements throughout the process.

The advantage at Hampstead Dental Studio is that with our 3D scanner, you will be able to instantly see a simulation of how your new smile will look on your first consultation!
Your unique aligners will be made by technicians at Invisalign®, and you’ll come back to the practice to have them fitted. You should expect to wear several different sets of aligners during the course of your treatment.

How long does Invisalign® take?

The length of treatment is different for each patient, but it normally takes between six and 18 months, and you will switch to a different set of aligners roughly every week.
Is Invisalign® painful?

Invisalign® is not painful, but some patients do experience an element of discomfort, especially when first wearing their aligners.
